拉萨犬拉萨犬，英文名：Lhasa Apso,也有人称为西藏犬身高：25～28公分，体重：6～7公斤。藏语Apso是“善吠的守卫犬”之意，拉萨犬至今已有2000年的历史。20世纪以前，除原产地西藏以外，很少见到这种犬种。西藏有众多的寺庙、喇嘛，拉萨犬最初的用途就是这些寺院僧侣的陪伴和守卫犬，该犬还被僧侣被视为神圣之物，认为饲养者死后，灵魂寄附于狗的体内，可给饲养者带来好运。所以当时要购买此犬种是不大可能的，但在历史上达赖喇嘛也将拉萨犬当作赠礼，进贡朝廷和邻邦，结交达官贵人，因其华丽的外表而广泛流传世界各地。拉萨犬的毛色有金黄色、朱砂色、灰色、花色和黑，白，茶等各种颜色，其中以白色最为珍贵。被毛直、手触感觉很硬，上毛长粗直，下毛丰厚。沿着背骨，被毛左右清楚分开。四肢由密集丰厚的长毛覆盖着，前肢直，后肢肌肉十分发达。足部坚挺呈圆形，肉趾特别厚。尾毛密集，尾跟高，尾巴朝上卷曲，毛尖容易纠结在一起，必须定期梳理和修剪。 拉萨犬身体强健，听觉灵敏，性格亲和、高傲沉着、聪明听话，对陌生人警戒心强，坚强勇敢，是很出色的警戒犬。由于该犬体型不大，适宜在家庭饲养，并且能成为很好的伴侣犬。【性情】活泼、自信，但对陌生人警惕。【大小】大小变化不一，公犬肩高约25.4—27.9厘米，母犬稍矮。【颜色】任何颜色均可，耳朵和胡须的深色毛尖可有可无。【体形】肩峰到臀部最高点的距离大于肩高，肋骨扩张良好，腰强，臀和大腿发达。【被毛】被毛很厚，直而硬，不呈羊毛状或丝状，长度很好，非常密。【头部】头部饰毛丰厚，下垂于眼部，具有良好颔须和口须。颅骨狭窄，眼后位以显著角度倾斜，不十分平坦，但不呈圆顶形或苹果形。吻直而长，鼻子黑色，鼻尖到眼的距离大约为鼻子到颅骨顶部的1/3。眼腈——棕黑色，不大但饱满，又不小而下陷。耳朵——有垂饰，毛厚。嘴和吻——最好的咬合为钳状咬合或稍微的下超咬合。吻长中等，正方形的吻令人讨厌。【腿】前腿直，前后腿有丰富的饰毛。【脚】饰毛发达，圆形，猫形脚，肉垫发达。【尾和姿势】尾饰发达，向上呈螺旋卷曲于背部，尾尖可打结。尾低位应视为不合格。
