道德实践要求受教育者在各种活动和日常生活中，履行道德规范,或者进行练习,以形成一定的道德品质和习惯。德育方法之一。人们思想品德的社会意义，要经过相应的道德行为才能表现出来。道德行为是人们思想品德最重要的标志，中国古代教育家历来重视封建主义的道德行为实践。孔丘特别重视"躬行"，主张"听其言而观其行"。墨子也注重力行。他说:"士虽有学,而行为本焉。""务言而缓行，虽辩必不听。"朱熹强调自小练习"洒扫、应对、进退之节",实践"爱亲、敬长、隆师、亲友之道",是"修身、齐家、治国、平天下之本。"共产主义道德规范，只有通过各种相应的活动，使受教育者取得道德实践经验，才可能转化为他们的道德信念和情感，养成行为习惯。道德实践要贯穿于受教育者的学习、劳动、课外活动、社会活动以及日常生活等各方面。但在一定时期内，须有一个主要的目标，而且这一目标应是大多数受教育者经过努力可以达到的。组织道德实践，要向受教育者说明有关道德规范的意义，鼓励他们自觉锻炼；向他们讲清行为要求和行为方式，以及如何排除道德实践中可能遇到的困难，以提高实践的效果；在学生实践中,教师应注意检查督促,给予恰当的评价，肯定成绩，找出差距，表扬先进，激励后进。道德实践要求学校中的活动具有丰富多采的形式与富有教育意义的思想内容。
