黄色沙尘每年带走我国多少财富我国是世界上荒漠化最为严重的国家之一，现有荒漠化土地39.3亿亩，占国土陆地面积的27.3%。涉及18个省(区、市)的471个县(旗)。目前，全国每年荒漠化净扩展面积已超过1000万亩。荒漠化导致了土地生产力的严重衰退。全国草场退化20亿亩，占荒漠化地区草场面积的59.6%，每年因此少养羊5000多万只；耕地退化1.16亿亩，占荒漠化地区耕地面积的40.1%。近年来，我国每年因荒漠化造成的直接经济损失达540亿元。1993年5月西北地区的特大沙尘暴，席卷新疆、甘肃、宁夏、内蒙古的72个县(旗)，农业受灾面积505万亩。荒漠化还加剧了整个生态环境的恶化。每年输入黄河的16亿吨泥沙中，就有12亿吨来自荒漠化地区。特大沙尘暴，60年代发生了8次，70年代发生了13次，80年代发生了14次，90年代已经发生了23次。——原载2000年6月16日《人民日报》
