超细粉碎将粉粒物料磨碎到粒径为微米级的操作。应用于新型陶瓷、电子材料、 复印材料、 细胞生物化学以及塑料助剂、橡胶助剂的生产过程。超细粉碎设备种类很多,主要有三类:①振动磨磨体是一个装载研磨体的筒体,用弹簧支承。筒内有一球形偏心转子,由电动机直接带动,作高速旋转(1000~3000r/min)。惯性离心力使筒体在垂直和水平两个方向上作高频振动,置于筒内研磨体之间的粉料,在研磨体高频冲击和研磨作用下磨细。若用圆柱体代替圆球作研磨体,则研磨体之间从点接触改为线接触,可提高生产能力。以乙醇为助剂磨碎陶瓷原料时,可获得90%通过1μm、50%通过0.4μm的超细粉体。②流能磨又称超音速内循环气流粉碎机。该机无运动部件,它利用压缩空气或过热蒸汽从喷嘴喷出时产生的高速气流(100~180m/s)带动粉体运动,粉粒因相互碰撞及与壁面的摩擦而磨细;还可利用气流的分级作用,将合格的细粉带出磨机。产物粒径大部分在1μm以下。(见彩图)③胶体磨磨机内有一高速旋转(周速为18~36m/s)的圆盘,它与固定圆盘之间的缝隙是可调节的,通常为0.3mm。粉料调制成悬浮液加入机内,在转盘与固定盘之间的缝隙中连续流过,粉粒在很高的剪切速度作用下碎裂,形成1μm以下的微粒。
