智舜(隋赵郡障洪山)《续高僧传》卷十七【智舜(隋赵郡障洪山)《续高僧传》卷十七】释智舜。俗姓孟。赵州大陆人。少为书生。博通丘索工书善说。庠序附焉。年二十余。厌世出家。事云门稠公居于白鹿。始末十载。常乐幽隐不事嚣杂。才有昏情便有灵只相诫。或动身衣。或有声相。又现白服。形量丈余绕院相警。往往非一。尝与沙门昙询。同修念定经于四年。后北游赞皇许亭山。依倚结业声绩及远。有资其道供者。便权避之。遂经纪载不须资待。又猎者逐雉飞入舜房。苦加劝勉终不肯止。遂将雉去。情不忍此。因割耳遗之。感舜苦谏。便投弓解鹰。从舜请道渐学经义。于是课笃数村舍其猎业。斯则仁济之诚也。后专习道观不务有缘。妄心卒起不可禁者。即刺股流血。或抱石巡塔。须臾不逸其虑也。故髀上刺处。班驳如铺锦焉。其翘励之操。同伍诚不共矣。处山积岁剪剃无人。便以火烧发。弊服遗食屡结寒炎。度景分功无忘造次。性少贪恼手不执财。每见贫馁泪垂盈面。或解衣以给。或割口以施。由此内撤外化。所亲之中。见其弥敬十人出家。并依舜行。练心节量。踵武扬风。后年疾既侵身力斯尽。常令人称念。系想净方。遂终于老。末感气疾忽增。十有五日。励念如初。卒于元氏县屈岭禅坊。时年七十有二。即仁寿四年正月二十日也。初葬于终所山侧。后房子县界嶂洪山民。素重舜道。夜偷尸柩瘗于岩中。及往追觅皆藏其所。三年之后开示焚之起白塔于崖上。自舜之入道精厉其诚。昔处儒宗颇自矜伐。忽因旬假得不净观。肠腑流外惊厌叵陈。所见余人例皆不净内溢。乃就稠师具蒙印旨。为云门官供当拟是难。因就静山晓夕通业。不隶公名不行公寺。而内德潜运远闻帝阙。开皇十年下诏曰。皇帝敬问赵州房子界嶂洪山南谷旧禅房寺智舜禅师。冬日极寒。禅师道体清胜。教导苍生。使早成就。朕甚嘉焉。朕统在兆民之上。弘护正法夙夜无怠。今遣上开府卢元寿。指宣往意。并送香物如别。时赵州刺史杨达。以舜无公贯素绝名问。依敕散下方始知之。乃为系名同果寺。用承诏旨而舜亦不临赴。山民为之起寺。三处交络四方闻造。欣斯念定。而莫堪其精到。不久还返。斯勇猛之诚不可例也。每于冬初化诸缘集。多办复贮之衣。就施狱囚。春秋二时方等行道。余则加坐幽林。块然不寐及登耳顺心用力疲。转读藏经凡得四遍。左手执卷右手执烛十宿五宿目不曾敛。佛名赞德诵阅如流。昏昼六时礼忏终化。有弟子智赞。幼奉清诲长悟玄理。摄论涅槃是所综博。今住蓝田化感寺。承习禅慧荣其光绪。比多征引终遁林泉。
