纳西族纳西族中国少数民族。主要分布于云南省、四川省部分地区，少数在西藏。人口27.8万（1990）。使用纳西语，属汉藏语系藏缅语族彝语支。多数人通用汉语文。古时有过象形文字，称东巴文；另一种文字为音节文字，称哥巴文。1957年，设计了以拉丁字母为基础的拼音文字方案。纳西族的名称来自古代髦人的一个部落名。在族源上属古代羌人向南迁徙的一支。其先民晋代史籍称摩沙夷，唐代称摩些蛮。唐初曾建立越析诏，后为南诏所灭。元明到清初，一些首领被中央王朝授予世袭封建土司官职。清朝雍正元年改土归流，大部分地区发展为封建地主经济。 纳西族以经营农业为主。主要产大米、玉米、麦、土豆和棉、麻。金沙江河套地带是林区。玉龙山区植物种类繁多，以植物仓库之称闻名于世。纳西族创造了优秀的文化和艺术。《东巴经》卷帙浩繁，是研究纳西族社会历史发展、语言文字和宗教信仰的宝贵资料。《白沙细乐》和《丽江古乐》是有名的大型古典乐曲。家庭为一夫一妻制。人死后，自古通行火葬，清末以后部分地区开始行土葬。男子着装和汉族相似。丽江地区的妇女穿大褂，宽腰大袖，外加坎肩，缀有刺绣的七星和日、月，意为勤劳。宁蒗地区的妇女着长可及地的多褶裙，短上衣、青布大包头，佩大银耳环。传统节日有正月农具会、三月龙王庙会、七月骡马会，此外还有春节、清明节、端午节、中秋节、火把节等。多信仰东巴教，属多神教，天、地、山、水、风、火等自然现象和自然物都被视为神灵。身着民族服饰的纳西族妇女
