脾气下陷证脾气亏虚，升举无力，气反下陷所引起，临床以精神倦怠，脘腹重坠作胀，食入益甚为主要表现的证候。常见于崩漏、脱肛、阴挺、久泻、久痢，以及西医的慢性肠炎、胃下垂、子宫脱垂、肾下垂等疾病。脾位于中焦，根据五脏配五方的理论，脾属于中央，所以脾气又称为中气，脾气下陷又称为中气下陷。脾气下陷证多为脾气虚证的进一步发展，饮食劳倦或久痢久泻损伤中气，导致脾气不足，升举无力，则清气不能上升，而反下陷为患，形成脾气下陷证。脾气下陷证的临床表现为：脘腹重坠作胀，食入益甚，或便意频频，肛门重坠，或久泻久痢，甚至脱肛，或崩漏下血，或子宫脱垂，或小便混浊如米泔水，或少气乏力，肢体倦怠，声低懒言，头晕目眩，体形消瘦，面色萎黄，舌淡苔白，脉弱。这些临床症状体现了两个方面的病理变化：一为脾气下陷，升举无力，气失固摄；一为脾气不足，运化失健，气血生化无源，机体失养，功能活动低下。临床上，治疗以健脾益气，升阳举陷为法。可选用补中益气汤、升陷汤、举元煎等方剂。
