稻蓟马昆虫纲缨翅目(Thysanoptera)。作物害虫。主要以成虫和若虫锉吸叶片或花器汁液为害水稻。常见种类有蓟马科的稻蓟马 (Baliothrips biformis ) 和花蓟马(Frankliniella intonsa ), 以及管蓟马科的稻管蓟马(Haplothrips aculeatus)。①稻蓟马。成虫体长1~1.3毫米。体黑褐色,触角7节,第2节端部和第3、4节色淡,其余各节褐色(图 1)。中国各稻区普遍分布。长江流域和华南稻区发生较多;也见于日本、印度、斯里兰卡和东南亚。寄主植物有稻、小麦、玉米、游草、稗、看麦娘等,主要在秧苗期和分蘖期取食稻叶,为害严重时稻叶卷缩枯黄,甚至稻苗枯死。在江苏一年发生10~13代,福建中部约15代,广东15代以上。以成虫在杂草心叶内过冬,但广东可终年繁殖。成虫白天隐藏,晨昏或阴天在叶面活动。有趋嫩绿禾苗产卵习性。卵散产在稻叶表皮组织内。每雌平均产卵50粒左右,有孤雌生殖。初孵若虫先在心叶、叶腋处取食,随后分散。被害叶出现白色小斑,后叶尖渐纵卷而枯萎。若虫常群集秧苗为害。水稻品种混栽、提早栽插,可为稻蓟马提供食料条件,施肥过多,也加重为害。②稻管蓟马。成虫体长约2毫米,体黑褐色有光泽,触角 8节(图2)。腹末端呈管状。在中国分布于全国各地;寄主植物有水稻、麦、玉米、高粱、粟、蚕豆和禾本科杂草等。主要在水稻抽穗扬花期为害花,影响谷粒饱满。在华南无明显越冬现象,在华东以成虫在稻桩、树皮、杂草丛中越冬。成虫活泼,白天隐藏,黄昏和阴雨天外出。水稻穗部虫口一般多于叶部,早稻受害重于晚稻。③花蓟马。成虫体长1.3~1.5毫米,体土黄色。触角8节。分布于全国各地。寄主植物有水稻、棉、花生、豆类、瓜类等。在水稻破口时侵入穗苞,扬花时侵入谷粒为害,引起花壳和瘪谷。以成虫越冬,早春在杂草上繁殖。稻蓟马的天敌主要有花蝽、微蛛、稻红瓢虫等。防治措施包括清除杂草以减少虫源;加强肥水管理以促使稻苗健壮,以及施用易卫杀、杀虫双或亚胺硫磷等农药和保护天敌等。
