价格术语国际贸易中用来表示各类规范的价格条件的专门用语。又称价格条件。通常用一个简短的概念或简短的英文短语或缩写的英文字母表示。形成国际贸易中买卖双方相距较远，成交的商品往往需要经过长途运输，多次装卸和存储。在运输、装卸、储存或转换运输工具的过程中，需要合理洽租运输工具、装卸货物，办理货运保险、申领进出口许可证和报关纳税等手续，并支付运费、装卸费、保险费、仓储费以及各种捐税和杂项费用。同时，货运可能遭受各种意外风险。有关这些责任由谁承担，费用由谁支付，风险如何划分，就成为国际贸易业务中必须明确解决的问题。经过长期实践，逐渐形成了适应种种需要的价格术语，用来说明商品价格构成和划清买卖双方各自负担的责任、费用、风险以及货物所有权转移的界限。不同的价格术语，表示买卖双方在责任、费用与风险上所承担的权利和义务的区别。划分按照不同的交货地点划分主要有：内陆交货的价格术语；装运港交货的价格术语和目的地交货的价格术语。经常使用的是装运港交货类中的三种价格术语：离岸价格,即装运港船上交货价(FOB)、离岸加运费价格(C&F)和到岸价格即运费、保险费在内价(CIF)。随着国际贸易的不断发展，又出现了一些新的价格术语。例如，随着空运事业的发展,启运机场交货价(FOB Airport)已被广泛使用；随着多种联运方式的发展，又出现了货交承运人......（指定地点）价(FRC)，等等。在国际贸易中使用价格术语，对简化交易洽谈的内容，缩短磋商和成交的进程，以及节省业务费用等，都有积极作用。
