版画版画graphic绘画种类之一。以刀或化学药品等在木、石、麻胶、铜、锌等版面上雕刻或蚀刻后印刷出来的图画。版画经历了由复制到创作两个阶段。早期版画画、刻、印者相互分工，刻者只照画稿刻版，称复制版画；后来画刻印都由版画家一人来完成，版画家得以充分发挥自己的艺术创造性，这种版画称创作版画。中国复制木刻版画已有上千年历史，创作版画则起自20世纪30年代，经鲁迅提倡，后来取得了巨大发展。在西方，16世纪的A.丢勒以铜版画和木版画复制钢笔画，到17世纪，伦勃朗则把铜版画从镂刻法发展到腐蚀方法，并进入到创作版画阶段。木刻版画进入创作版画阶段是在19世纪。从类型而言，版画分凸版、凹版、平版和孔版4种。①凸版版画有木刻、麻胶刻、石刻、砖刻、纸刻、石膏刻等。它是在版平面上以刀刻去画稿的空白部分，所存形象凸起，故称凸版。刻成后经印刷完成。木版画用油性油墨印刷，称油印，用水性颜料印刷称水印。其他材料的凸版画，一般均为油印。②凹版版画有金属版画、赛璐珞版画、纸版画等。它是在版平面上刻出凹线，滚上油墨，即可印出黑地白线的图像。现代凹版版画的版材，主要为铜、锌或铁、钢，刻制方法有：线刻法、干刻法、腐蚀法、美柔丁、浮雕法、飞尘法、软地法、照相法、套色法。③平版版画有石版画、独幅版画等，其中主要为石版画，所用石版为一种质纯而细的石灰石，吸水性好。以油质蜡笔在石版面上作画，画固定后，以抹布水湿版面，画有蜡笔的地方则拒水却能吸收油墨，用油墨滚上，便能在纸上印出画来。制版方法有药墨棒画法、毛笔画法、复写法。另外，独幅版画也是平版版画的一种，即在玻璃（或石）版面上用稀油彩或水粉色作画，未干即覆纸，压印而成，只能印一张。④孔版版画指在纸版或铁皮上将一个号码刻透，压在货箱面上，再在背面刷颜色，号码即能被印上去，此即孔版。孔版版画有丝网版画、纸孔版画等，其中主要为丝网版画，所用的材料主要为尼龙网纱，最初采用丝绢，故称丝网。用切刻法、描画法或感光法制板。将制好孔版的网纱承印面与纸贴近，在其刮印面上倾倒液态颜料（有油质和水性两类，按受印物质材料来选定），再以刮板将颜料刮过去，颜料透过有孔的地方印在下面纸上即成。现代的版画家为了探索多种多样的表现形式，有时在一幅版画内，同时混用几种类型的版画方法，称为综合版画。
