多种土质坝采用两种以上筑坝材料筑成的土坝。坝体包括防渗料和各种透水料。防渗料置于坝体中间或上游,再按排水过渡原则分别设置由中间向上下游,或由上游向下游透水性逐渐增大的坝壳透水料(见图)。这种坝适用于当地具备几种筑坝材料(包括从建筑物开挖出来的石碴),且必须用两种以上材料才能满足数量要求的情况。这种坝的优点:①可因地制宜充分利用包括石碴在内的当地各种筑坝材料;②土料用量比均质土坝少,因而施工受气候影响也相对小;③如防渗体设于上游,雨天可先填下游透水料争取工期;④坝内自防渗料起按由细到粗的排列过渡原则分区配置筑坝材料,有利于坝体排水,简化排水设施,使下游透水坝壳浸润线较低。如防渗体位于中间,当库水下降,上游透水坝壳的孔隙水迅速外排,上游坝坡可设计得比较陡。如防渗体位于上游,下游坝壳全为透水料,下游坝坡比较陡。综上所述,这种坝型比均质土坝节省工程量。其缺点是坝体由多种材料组成,工序复杂,施工干扰大。
