《艺概》《艺概》中国近代诗文评论集。著者清代刘熙载(1813～1881)，字伯简，号融斋，晚号寤崖子，江苏兴化人，道光二十四年（1844）进士。《艺概》是作者平时论文谈艺的汇编，成书于晚年。全书分为《文概》、《诗概》、《赋概》、《词曲概》、《书概》、《经义概》共6卷，分别论述文、诗、赋、词、书法及八股文等的体制流变、性质特征、表现技巧和评论重要作家作品等。作者自谓谈艺“好言其概”，故以“概”名书。“概”的涵义是：得其大意，言其概要，举少以概多，使人明其指要，触类旁通。这是刘氏谈艺的宗旨和方法，也是《艺概》一书的特色。《艺概》论文既注重文学本身的特点、艺术规律，同时又强调作品与人品、文学与现实的联系。刘氏考察创作问题、评价作家作品，往往有精辟独到的见解。他强调作品是一个有机整体，论所谓“词眼”、“诗眼”，提出“通体之眼”，“全篇之眼”。谈到批判与继承的关系，认为“惟善用古者能变古”，并能够正确对待不同旨趣、风格的作家作品。他论表现手法与技巧，指出“语语微妙，便不微妙”，“竟体求奇，转至不奇”，强调“交相为用”、“相济为功”，提出一系列相反相成的艺术范畴，如深浅、重轻、劲婉、直曲、奇正、空实、抑扬、开合、工易、宽紧、淡丽等等。《艺概》有刻于同治十三年(1874)的《古桐书屋六种》本。1978年上海古籍出版社有标点本。
