那条街
That street.
曾独自默默彳亍着，
Once trudging alone in silence,
彳亍在那古老而朴素的街，
Trudging through the old and simple street,
那条虽破旧但毫无乱意可言的古街。
The old street, which is in the old but untidy.
在她的怀抱里，我甘愿，甘愿
In her arms, I"m willing, willing.
甘愿做一个走街串巷的卖货郎，
I"d like to be a sales man in the street,
虽无高头大马也无腰缠万贯，
Although there is no high horse and no waist,
只因她的，
Because of her,
她的那难以言说的古朴和古韵，还有；
Her unspeakable simplicity and charm, and;
还有那难以在其它街角找到的独特的韵味，
And the unique charm that is difficult to find on other street corners,
还有，还有……
And, and.
她曾多次梦萦在，梦萦在我的梦中，
She had dreams haunting me many times, dreams haunted me in my dreams,
那么的真实，
So true,
那么的清晰，
So clear,
清晰中又带着星稀的模糊。
The blur of the star is clearly in the clear.
她给人一种，
She gave it one,
一种丁香姑娘一样的感觉，
The same feeling as a lilacs,
既亲切又不可方物，却又难以抵近；
It is kind and inaccessible, but it is difficult to get close to it.
抵进她的内心深处。
Into the depths of her heart.
我爱那条古街，
I love that old street,
爱她的悠久历史，
Love her long history,
爱她的负荷承载，
Love her load bearing,
我要将她的记忆尘封在脑海深处，
I"m going to seal her memory deep in my head,
防止任何人的窥视和盘算，

防止一切的一切……
To prevent everything.
我要与她共进退、同存亡。

我要与她一起度过余生的坎，
