化工陶瓷分子式：CAS号：性质：用于制造化工设备中耐酸腐蚀部件的陶瓷。按品种分类有泵、鼓风机、印板机、阀门、容器、塔类、填料、耐酸耐温砖等。化工陶瓷用可塑性黏土、长石、焦宝石或矾土等原料配合，经粉碎、练泥、开片、手工捣固、印坯、浇注等工序制成生坯，经高温焙烧而成。具有优异的耐腐蚀性(除氢氟酸和浓热碱外)，在所有无机酸和有机酸等介质中，其耐腐蚀性、耐磨性、不污染介质等性能远非耐酸不锈钢所能及。广泛使用于石油化工、化肥、制药、食品、造纸、冶炼、化纤等工业。使用温度范围为-15～100℃，温差不宜>50℃。主要缺点：质脆，机械强度不高和耐冷热急变性差。近年来出现高强度高致密的氮化硅、碳化硅、氧化硅、氧化铝质特种化工陶瓷。但用黏土等硅酸盐矿物制成的普通化工陶瓷仍具有价格低廉、易于制成大尺寸等优点。
