化脓化脓suppuration即生成脓液的过程。常由葡萄球菌、脑膜炎双球菌、绿脓杆菌、大肠杆菌等化脓菌引起。首先引起局限性炎症,以大量中性白细胞渗出为特征。白细胞吞噬病原体后,溶酶体将之消化,并释放溶组织酶,使白细胞发生液化性坏死,即形成脓球。大量脓球蓄积区则形成显著的脓液。身体各组织器官均可发生化脓性炎症。
