启发式教学启发式教学heuristicteaching教师在教学工作中依据学习过程的客观规律，引导学生主动、积极、自觉地掌握知识的教学方法。在中国，启发一词，源于古代教育家孔子的“不愤不启，不悱不发”。孔子以后，《学记》的作者提出“导而弗牵，强而弗抑，开而弗达”，进一步阐发了启发式教学的思想，主张启发学生，引导学生，而不硬牵着他们走；严格要求学生，却不施加压力；指明学习路径，并不代替他们达成结论。在欧洲，稍后于孔子的古希腊思想家苏格拉底用“问答法”来启发学生的独立思考以探求真理。17世纪捷克教育家J.A.夸美纽斯、18世纪瑞士教育家J.H.裴斯泰洛齐，均反对注入式教学，主张凡没有被悟性彻底领会的事物，均不可用熟记的方法去学习。德国教育家J.F.赫尔巴特倡导启发儿童已有的经验和知识作为学习的出发点，称为启发教学法。现代教学论中的启发式教学思想，是在现代心理学和教育学发展的基础上进一步完善起来的。特点是：强调学生是学习的主体，教师要调动学生的学习积极性，实现教师主导作用与学生积极性相结合；强调学生智力的充分发展，实现系统知识的学习与智力的充分发展相结合；强调激发学生内在的学习动力，实现内在动力与学习的责任感相结合；强调理论与实践联系，实现书本知识与直接经验相结合。启发式教学的实质在于正确处理教与学的相互关系，它反映了教学的客观规律。一些国家教学法改革中的许多创造和见解，都是同启发式教学的要求相关联的。
