散热散热机体在新陈代谢过程中产生的热量，通过皮肤、呼吸及尿、粪等排泄物向外界放散的过程。机体主要的散热部位是皮肤。皮肤的散热方式有：①辐射散热。机体的热量以热射线的形式传给外界较冷物体。以此方式散发的热量，占安静时总散热量的 60％左右。散热量受气温与皮肤的温差以及辐射面积的影响。②传导散热。机体的热量直接传给同它接触的较冷物体。皮下脂肪的多少，与皮肤接触的物体温度与导热度的高低决定传导散热量。③对流散热。通过气体或液体的不断流动来交换热量。散失的热量受风速影响较大。④蒸发散热，气温等于或超过皮肤温度时的唯一散热途径。又分以下两种：一种为不感蒸发，体液的水分直接透出皮肤和粘膜表面，在未聚成明显水滴前就蒸发。另一种为发汗，又名可感蒸发，汗腺的分泌物即汗液在蒸发表面以明显的汗滴形式蒸发。散热过程亦受神经系统的调节。
