话剧话剧中国对一个戏剧种类的特殊称谓。源于古希腊悲剧和喜剧的演出形式，这一剧种于20世纪初传入中国，当时称为新剧，由1907年在东京组建的春柳社、在上海成立的春阳社和1909年的天津南开学校剧团分别借鉴引入。19后称为文明戏，多是用幕表的形式，只有剧情大纲，由演员即兴编演。在这前后，戏剧形式还有爱美剧、白话剧等名称。1928年，戏剧家洪深提议把它定名为话剧，意在与中国戏曲、歌剧、舞剧、哑剧等相区别。此后，这一称谓被普遍承认。话剧综合文学、表演、音乐、美术、舞蹈等多种艺术成分，但却以台词（对话、独白、旁白）与形体动作为基本手段。
