光散射分子式:CAS号:性质:一束光线通过介质时在入射光方向以外的其他方向上都能检测到光强的现象。光是一种电磁波,传播时其交变的电磁场与介质中的分子发生相互作用,使分子中的电子发生强迫振动而产生电偶极子。振动着的偶极子是个次波源,它犹如一根天线向各个方向发散电磁波,这就是散射光波。如果介质是完全均匀的,则所有的偶极子的散射光波因相互干涉而完全抵消。若介质的光学均匀性遭到破坏,则这些散射光波不会完全抵消,结果观察到光散射现象。因此,产生光散射的必要条件是介质具有光学不均匀性。因为胶体粒子的折光指数往往与介质的不同,所以强烈的光散射是大多数胶体体系的重要特征。
