血吸虫病血吸虫病schistosomiasis血吸虫寄生于人体而引起的疾病。寄生于人体的主要有日本血吸虫、埃及血吸虫和曼森氏血吸虫3种。此外，东南亚的湄公血吸虫、马来血吸虫和非洲中、西部的间插血吸虫也能感染人体。血吸虫病流行于北纬34°到南纬34°之间热带、亚热带地区的亚洲、非洲和拉丁美洲的广大农村。目前有74个国家和地区的6亿人口生活在流行区，其中有2亿病人。这些地区的气候和自然环境适于本虫中间寄主螺类的繁殖，人与疫水接触机会亦多。中国只有日本血吸虫病（因该病首先在日本发现，病原虫的生活史也首先经日本学者详细研究而阐明，故得名），20世纪50年代以前曾流行于长江以南大部分产粮区，患者多达1000余万人。经大规模群众性防治，至70年代发病人数已降至250万，台湾省仅发现动物感染日本血吸虫。血吸虫的生活史包括虫卵、毛蚴、母孢蚴、子孢蚴、尾蚴、童虫及成虫等7个阶段。血吸虫病可分为急性、慢性和晚期3期。潜伏期长短与感染尾蚴量有关，平均为6周左右，潜伏期内可出现尾蚴性皮炎和童虫性肺炎，尾蚴性皮炎指肢体接触疫水的部位出现发痒的红色小丘疹。童虫移经肺部时，可出现咳嗽、胸痛等症状。上述症状常较轻微短暂，易被忽视，以后的临床表现因虫种而异。粪便、尿液及活体组织中查到虫卵或从粪中孵出毛蚴即可确诊。病史、临床表现及免疫学检查可作为诊断的参考。治疗的首选药物为吡喹酮，具有毒性低、疗程短的优点。硝硫氰胺及呋喃丙胺也有一定的治疗效果。对急性期病人应给予支持疗法并补充营养，必要时用小量皮质激素控制体温，待病情缓解后再进行病原治疗。对晚期病例则宜采用内外科结合及中西医结合的治疗措施。侏儒型患者经病原治疗后，其生长发育可有明显改善。预防应采取治疗病人、病畜和灭螺为基础的综合措施。经验证明，结合农业生产及农田水利建设，因时因地制宜，改变螺类孳生环境，则代价小而效果维持时间长；灭螺药灭螺也是一种快速有效的方法，常用的灭螺药有氯硝柳胺、五氯酚钠、溴乙酰胺，N-三苯甲基吗啉等。此外，还应该注意水源的保护，改善供水系统并加强卫生宣教工作。血吸虫疫苗预防仍在研究中。
