促甲状腺激素释放激素兴奋试验促甲状腺激素释放激素兴奋试验简称"TRH兴奋试验"。用于诊断内分泌疾病的一种试验方法。于清晨静脉注射TRH500μg，在注射前和注射后15、30、60、90或120分钟，分别抽血测定TSH的水平，正常人注射后30分钟血清TSH出现峰值，可达10～30μIU/ml若TSH峰值在60分钟或以后出现者，为延迟反应。临床上，弥漫性毒性甲状腺肿、垂体前叶瘤者，常低于此峰值或无反应。原发性甲功能减退症，TSH基值升高。继发性甲状腺功能减退，TSH明显升高者，提示病变在下丘脑，如无升高则表示继发于脑垂体病，有TSH分泌缺乏。在做本试验之前，应注意停用雌激素、茶碱、抗甲状腺药物，左旋多巴等。
