激光生物效应（biologicaleffectoflaser）激光生物效应（biologicaleffectoflaser）激光作用于生物体，主要引起热、压力、光和电磁场四种效应。激光的生物效应可作用于生物体不同层次：①超短脉冲激光作用于蛋白质可引发光生化反应，改变酶的活性、定向催化而不损伤活细胞；②氩离子激光可损伤染色体，红宝石激光会抑制DNA表达；前苏联学者Н.Ф.Гамалея提出弱激光可调节蛋白质合成；③激光可引起胶凝，破坏细胞核，损伤线粒体；而前苏联学者А.А.Профончуков提出，氦氖激光被膜受体吸收后可使细胞光致敏化，产生活化效应，提高蛋白质合成系统活性，增加有丝分裂；④氦氖激光和脉冲红宝石激光对某些细菌生长有影响：能量小时有促进作用，能量大时有抑制作用；⑤红宝石激光弱强度照射可提高白细胞噬菌功能，CO2激光辐照腰间穴位使细胞数增加等。激光的生物效应及其机理有待研究。目前已应用医学的有激光治疗肿瘤、治疗眼疾病、治疗动脉血栓、血管成形、激光吻合术、激光外科整形等。
