流域水文模型为流域上发生的全水文过程进行模拟计算所建成的数学模型。现已在各种水文工作中广泛应用。水文模型有确定性与不确定性之分,前者的解是确定量,后者是随机量。确定性模型中又分"黑箱子模型"与概念性模型,前者无物理概念,后者有。在不特别说明时,流域水文模型指概念性模型。流域水文模型把流域总体看成是一个系统,输入为降雨等,输出为出流流量等。流域内的水文过程则是系统的状态,是根据水文概念推理计算出来的。所谓模拟,就是对水文现象作出合理的概括建立模型,进行计算处理。世界知名的概念性模型已不下20种,主要的计算步骤大同小异。下面以中国的新安江流域水文模型为例说明(见图)。根据输入的实测水面蒸发与当时的土壤湿度,代入蒸散发模型,可计算出流域蒸散发。再根据输入的实测降雨与计算的蒸散发,代入产流方程,可计算出径流,同时调整了土壤湿度。把径流代入分水源方程可分出地面径流、壤中流与地下径流。地面径流用单位线计算流量过程,壤中流与地下径流各用水库演算计算流量过程,合而成为流域的出流过程。再应用河道洪水演算,求得下游某断面的流量过程。上述计算步骤以及所用的各种方程构成流域水文模型的结构,可以写成为一个计算机程序。计算方程中的各种参数,需要根据流域情况及历史资料推求出来。有了结构与参数以后,在计算机上实现,就能把任何输入转换成相应的输出。参考书目赵人俊著:《流域水文模拟──新安江模型与陕北模型》,水利电力出版社,北京,1984。
