中国民间音乐研究会音乐社团。初名"民歌研究会"。由延安鲁迅艺术学院音乐系的部分师生发起，成立于1939年3月5日，树连（李凌）、殷铁铭先后主持工作。1940年10月，举行第 3次全体大会，更名为"中国民歌研究会"；同年冬，晋察冀、晋西北、陕甘宁边区陇东等地区，分别组成分会。1941年2月，召开第4次全体大会，始定名为"中国民间音乐研究会"，并推选吕骥为会长。中华人民共和国成立后，该会并入中国民间文艺研究会。该会的主要工作是采集、整理和研究中国的民间音乐。成立以来，据不完全统计，共采集和整理以民歌为主的各种民间音乐3000多首，并写出了一批有质量的研究论文。如冼星海的《民歌与中国新兴音乐》、吕骥的《中国民间音乐研究提纲》、张鲁等人的《怎样采集民间音乐》、马可的《陕北土地革命时期的农民歌咏》和安波的《秦腔音乐概述》等。该会陆续编印出版了《民间音乐研究》创刊号（1942年11月，油印）、《民间音乐论文集》（1948，东北书店）以及《秧歌集》、《陕甘宁边区民歌》(一、二集)、《眉户道情》、《审录》、《器乐曲选》、《秧歌锣鼓点》和《河北民间歌曲集》等民间音乐研究丛刊10种，还有《绥远民歌集》等 6种。各分会采集和编印的民间音乐资料为数亦不少。这些工作对当时解放区的音乐创作，特别是对民歌改编、秧歌剧和新歌剧的创作，有直接影响。
