避孕药避孕药contraceptive能干扰生殖过程，阻断受孕，从而达到抗生育目的的药物。分为女用避孕药和男用避孕药。男用避孕药抗生育作用的主要机理是抑制精子发生，正在进行临床研究的有棉酚类和孕激素类等，尚未成为正式药物。临床上主要应用女用避孕药。分类女用避孕药按给药途径可分为口服避孕药、注射避孕药和局部用避孕药。局部用避孕药主要是杀精子药，由于避孕效果不好，所以现在多应用前两种。主要是类固醇性激素，利用性激素水平的变化，干扰受孕的某些关键环节，产生不利于受孕的作用，而达到避孕效果。类固醇（甾体）性激素按生理作用可分为两大类，按化学结构可分为四大类（表1）。由于避孕药的避孕作用是多环节的，因此同一种药物可随剂型、剂量或用法的不同而满足不同的要求。如短效口服避孕药可有复合片、探亲片、事后片等；长效避孕药则有长效复合片、长效针等。避孕药又可按制剂、用法及作用机理分类（表2）。副作用主要有类早孕反应、白带增多、乳房胀痛、月经失调、体重增加、色素沉着等。适应症及禁忌症该类药物适用于已婚、生育年龄、身体健康的妇女。凡患有急、慢性肝炎，肾炎，恶性肿瘤，糖尿病，动、静脉血栓栓塞，高血压症，心脏病者不宜使用。哺乳期妇女不宜使用。外用避孕药多具有较强的杀精子作用，一般制成胶冻、片剂或栓剂等，放入阴道后，发挥杀精子作用。如苯乙酸尿、苯硝酸尿、孕苯醇醚等，单独应用时避孕效果不够满意，与避孕工具同时应用，可提高效果。表：表1 女用避孕药的生理和化学分类表：表2 女用避孕药按制剂、用法及作用机理分类
