(过去式ran out、过去分词run out、现在分词running out、第三人称单数runs out)
1、something run out，某物被用完了。
这里注意，虽然是物作主语，但是不需要把run out变成被动语态，这是一个固定用法。
例句1：Time ran out.时间用完了（时间到了）。
例句2：My money have run out.我的钱花光了（用完了）。
2、somebody run out of something，某人用完了某物。
在这个结构里，主语必须由人物来充当。
例句1：Hes run out of inspirations.他已经耗光了灵感（他已经江郎才尽了）。
例句2：The girl is so tough to be touched. Ive run out of my ideas.这个女孩子实在是太难被打动了，我已经没办法了（我已经无计可施了）。
