Q:The US ordered Chinese diplomats to notify the State Department before meeting with local officials. They have called this a reciprocal move. I was wondering if the Chinese side agrees that this decision reciprocates with what US diplomats have to do in China?
据报道，美方要求中国驻美外交人员在与地方官员会见之前，必须提前通知美国务院。美方称，这是对中方有关作法的对等措施。中方是否认为，该决定与中方对美在华外交人员的有关规定对等？
A: The US Department of State raised excess demandson and deliberately set obstacles for Chinese diplomats in the US who do nothing more than their normal jobs. China opposes this move and has lodged stern representations to the US side.
答：美国国务院对中国驻美外交人员在美开展正常公务活动提出额外要求，人为设置障碍，中方对此表示反对，已经向美方提出了严正交涉。
China supports and provides necessary conveniencefor the normal work-related activities of US diplomats in China. The US sides claim of restrictions on American diplomats activities in China is simply not true.
中方一贯支持美国驻华外交人员在华开展正常的公务活动，并且提供必要便利。美方所谓中方限制美外交人员活动的说法根本站不住脚。
We urge the US side to correct its mistake,withdraw this decision and provide support and convenience for Chinese diplomats to conduct activities in the US instead of erecting barriers.
我们敦促美方纠正错误，撤销有关决定，为中国驻美外交人员开展相关活动提供支持和便利，而不是人为地设置障碍。
