新湖南客户端2月8日讯（记者 田甜）今天是中国传统节日元霄节，湖南省文化和旅游厅厅长陈献春向湖南主要入境旅游客源国的文化旅游机构和旅行商朋友发出感谢信，衷心感谢他们对湖南疫情防控和文旅发展的关心、支持和帮助。陈献春说，疫情终将过去，我们期待下次春花烂漫时 ，能与君共赏潇湘锦绣。
"这次疫情一来，欧美一些国家因疫情表现出对华不友好、甚至歧视中国人的行为时有发生，这将对湖南入境游带来重创"。陈献春说，值此元宵佳节之际，我们希望能做一件传递正能量的事，致信感谢海外朋友们对我们抗击疫情的关注和支持，欢迎他们疫情过后再到湖南访问，以此保持网络营销的"情感连接"热度，为疫后恢复提振入境游市场作准备。
湖南既不沿边，也不靠海。充分利用旅游业开放性、国际化的特点，加强文化旅游合作交流是湖南省扩大开放、从内陆大省走向开放强省的必由之路。发展入境旅游是衡量湖南省建设国际旅游目的地的关键性指标。以来，特别是湖南省实施创新引领、开放崛起战略以来，湖南省入境旅游实现了强劲增长。去年一年湖南入境旅游破纪录净增加102万人次，全年入境游总量达到467万人次(其中外国人250万人次)，增长比四年前翻番。
