上海会计从业资格考试是上海市注册会计师协会及上海市财政局联合主办的工商部门和财务部门注册会计师专业实践资格证书考试，是确定申请人是否满足注册会计师法定资格要求的重要考试，也是申请者报考上海市会计师考试的必要程序。

上海市发展改革委员会近日正式发布消息，从1月1日起，上海会计从业资格(CPA）考试取消。这一消息表明，起，上海全部会计人员由会计师协会颁发的《上海会计从业证书》替代CPA职业资格认证。
此前，上海会计从业资格考试认证分为两个级别，一级考试和二级考试，取得CPA职业资格需要考试合格两级考试并达到相应的要求。从1月1日开始，上海失去开展CPA职业资格考试的权力，依法向基本符合上海市人民政府有关会计从业资格证书等相关法规规定的（包括CPA）会计人员，由会计师协会颁发《上海会计从业证书》。
据悉，取消上海CPA职业认证措施的出台，具有重要的经济节度和实践指导意义。首先，为深化会计制度改革提供了有力的支持，它有利于促进会计制度的健康发展，保证会计人才的优质化，为会计行业的发展和投资做出贡献。
