12月19日(星期二)下午15:30，美国福特汉姆大学计算机与信息科学系Md Zakirul Alam Bhuiyan博士应王田教授邀请莅临我院作学术报告。报告会在计算机学院会议室举行，会议由计算机学院王田教授主持，来自计算机学院的部分老师和研究生也参加了此次报告会。
Md Zakirul Alam Bhuiyan教授做了“Data Collection for Trustworthy Cyber Systems and Applications”的报告，阐述并讨论了在数据传输前保证可信的数据采集，并对数据采集过程中可信数据及其隐私问题提出了一些问题和可能的解决方案。
期间，参会人员进行了交流互动，气氛十分热烈。大家对于可信源和可信数据采集方法等方面问题进行了深入的探讨。Md Zakirul Alam Bhuiyan博士通过生动客观的报告、深入浅出的经验交流让与会人员得到了很好的启发，开拓了大家的视野，使大家对可信数据采集和隐私保护研究的应用前景又有了新的认识和思考，同时也对大家的科研工作起到宝贵的指导作用。
注：Md Zakirul Alam Bhuiyan is currently an assistant professor of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the Fordham University, NY, USA. Earlier, he worked as an assistant professor at the Temple University. His research focuses on dependable cyber physical systems, WSN applications, big data, cloud computing, and cyber security. He has served as a lead guest editor and associates editor for IEEE TBD, ACM TCPS, INS, FGCS, IEEE IoT journal, Cluster Computing, TJCA, and so on. He has also served as a general chair, program chair, workshop chair, publicity chair, TPC member, and reviewer of international journals/conferences. Currently, he is a general chair for IEEE DASC (Greece), DependSys (China), and a program chair for IEEE I-SPAN (China) and IEEE SmartWorld (China), and a TPC member of IEEE INFOCOM (USA). He has received the IEEE TCSC Award for Excellence in Scalable Computing for Early Career Researchers (-) and the IEEE Outstanding Leadership Award () and Service Award (). He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM.
