Stress 重音(louder, stronger, longer)
音节:单个元音音素和辅音音素组合发音的最小语音单位,单个元音(vowel)的语音单位。
com/pe/ti/tion 四个音节
ac/tion 两个音节
有多个音节(syllable)的单词一定都有重音. 一般有如下规律:
以 tian,sion,ic 等结尾的词需要重读前一个音节;
如competition, preparation, reaction有前缀 pre, de, con, com, un, in, a, 需要重读后一个音节;名词一般重读第一个音节,动词一般重读第二个音节;
如 CONflict (noun) — conFLICT (verb)
CONtract (noun) — conTRACT (verb)
CONduct (noun) — conDUCT (verb)
CONpress (noun) — conPRESS (verb)
Rhythm 节律
强调重要信息。 Important information
强调 mostlynoun, verb, adjective, adverb;
弱化shrink: prepositions (in, on, at, with, over, under) , pronouns (a, an , the), he, she, we.
