全数字化核潜艇据美国《海军时报》4月26日报道，美国第一艘全数字化“俄克拉何马城”号(ssn723)核潜艇，于今年4月正式亮相。由于它装备了全新的导航系统，驾驶起来如同操作“傻瓜相机”一样简单，所以被称为“傻瓜”潜艇。核潜艇加装数字化系统“俄克拉何马城”号核潜艇日前已经完成“航行管理系统”的加装工作，从而使得该艇成为美国首艘全数字化核潜艇。“航行管理系统”是由数字化航海图、不间断全球定位系统、海洋环境传感器和电子指挥与控制系统组成。加上整合核潜艇原装备的mps-15雷达、火控系统、自动化敌我识别系统等，从某种意义上来说，它已经是美国的新一代核潜艇。驾潜艇如用“傻瓜”相机美国潜艇电子技术总管、潜艇部队助理导航官罗伯特·杰克斯，解释了“航行管理系统”给美国核潜艇带来的种种好处：首先是节约了大量的人力和潜艇空间。加装“航行管理系统”之后，“俄克拉何马号”核潜艇就实现了航海图无纸化，从而为核潜艇腾出了相当宝贵的空间。杰克斯解释说：“以前核潜艇出航，尤其是远航的时候，所携带的航海图占据了相当大的潜艇空间，而如今这些航海图就保存在几张盘上。你可以想象一下，一个光盘架子就能装下全世界的航海图，这是一件多么有意思的事呀。下一步，我们将把与航海图相关的纸质品，比如说航行指示等也都输入光盘。”其次减少许多工作量。“航行管理系统”能减少40%的工作量。原来潜艇航海图的保存、判别和使用占了潜艇上不少官兵的工作量，现在可以让潜艇官兵有更多的精力专注于作战。更有意思的是，如果几艘潜艇泊在同一个港口的话，那么它们之间将来还能通过该系统分享航海情报，如同现在的潜艇艇长碰头会一样。第三是使用便捷，如同用“傻瓜”相机。数字化的航海图还能从美国国家地理情报局下载或者提前预定。最重要的是，以前哪怕最有经验的航海图识别员，也得花至少10分钟才能判定本艇的准确位置。有了这套系统后，潜艇指挥官们使用起它来就如同用“傻瓜”相机一般简单，一分钟内全部搞定，从而大大减少了潜艇驾驶与指挥的复杂性与难度。美国潜艇部队的军官透露说，以前潜艇准备出航时，先得拿出航海图研究半天，然后制定好航行路线；现在，只需输入潜艇航行的目的地，然后就按计算机的指示办就行了。玩转新潜艇只需三星期由于核潜艇操作的复杂性，过去美国海军培养潜艇人才一直是道大难题，但培养加装新系统的潜艇操纵与指挥人才则要容易得多。据美国海军潜艇司令部透露，要玩转新潜艇，只需参加为期两周的潜艇学习中心新系统操作课，再加上一周的助理导航员课，他们就能胜任新潜艇操作员了。据美国海军潜艇司令部透露说，第一批新潜艇已经各就各位，可能随时出海执行战斗任务。两年后美国潜艇均变“傻”“俄克拉何马城”号是美国首艘使用“航行管理系统”的潜艇。美国潜艇司令部透露说，到，也就是两年之内，所有的美国核潜艇均加装这一系统，其中“诺福克”号是下一艘准备加装该系统的核潜艇，“佛罗里达”号和“弗吉尼亚”号将是第三和第四艘。美国的潜艇专家表示，一旦美国所有的核潜艇均加装该系统之后，其整体战力将领先中国和俄罗斯现有核潜艇左右。
